Samia Zaidi is a queer muslim writer/director based in the East Bay Area and Los Angeles. She gravitates towards edgy comedy, documentary, gratuitous dance films, and music videos. She's best known for diving into darker themes within the human psyche and bringing an ethereal and honest intimacy and accessibility to that realm. Ayumi a senior colorist at Rare Medium. She co-founded MFD in San Francisco. Born to continent-jumping musician parents, Ayumi (pronounced I-You-Me) holds three different passports and speaks Japanese and English natively. Her French improves noticeably after a glass of wine. Though her career in film was inspired by a childhood dream of meeting Danny Elfman, it has yet to pan out.

Sami Freeman is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, film composer, and co-founder of Bay Area licensing company Gooroo Music. She gravitates toward writing emotive music grounded in strings, piano and vocals. Sami scored her first feature documentary, 'Re-entrification' in 2022 with San Francisco’s Non Profit Organization, Lyrical Opposition. In her spare time, Sami loves bodysurfing Ocean Beach, mushroom foraging and cooking.

Alicia is a freelance Wilderness EMT with a background in water safety. She has worked in austere environments as a backpacking guide, sea kayak guide, white water rafting guide, SCUBA diver, and lifeguard. She founded Outerlands Medics + Rescue, a company that provides event medical support and teaches Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and customized medical trainings. Alicia enjoys providing remote and front country medical support for the film industry and ultimately wants to ensure others feel safe as they thrive in their creative spaces. She once ate a whole raw onion.
